Anne-Claire Christie, Creative Director
Before setting up Specky, Anne Claire worked as a head of documentary development and award-winning Producer/ Director.
As a Producer/Director, she won a Best Documentary Scottish Bafta in 2021 for Being Gail Porter. She won two Bafta Scotland New Talent Awards for Best Producer and Best Documentary for her first film Specky in 2007.
As a Head of Documentary Development she secured dozens of hours of award-winning TV commissions for all the UK major channels. Among the award-nominated series and films she helped get commissioned are: The Cancer Hospital (Bafta Scotland nominee), Black and Scottish (Bafta Scotland nominee), Kids on the Breadline (Refugee Scotland Awards winner) and Transplant Tales (RTS Scotland nominee) for BBC Scotland, My Boyfriend the War Hero (Edinburgh TV Festival Awards nominee) for BBC Three, George McGavin: A Year to Save my Life (RTS Scotland nominee) for BBC Four and Phil Spencer: Find me A Home (RTS Scotland winner) for Channel 4.
